Beyond Toys: The Functional Things We 3D Print

Most people find us through the fun stuff. The flexi crabs, the clickers, the name chains. But a real share of what comes off our printers is not a toy at all.

The part nobody sells anymore

This is the most common functional request we get. A knob snapped off a dryer. A clip broke inside a car door panel. A bracket on a twelve year old piece of furniture gave out, and the company that made it no longer exists.

These are exactly the problems 3D printing is good at. One part, made once, for one specific situation. Send us a photo of the broken piece next to a ruler and we can usually work from that alone.

Things that should exist but do not

Cable clips sized for your actual desk. An organizer for that one weird drawer. A stand that holds your phone at the exact angle you want. A bin insert that fits the shelf you already own, instead of the shelf a catalog assumed you owned.

Custom sizing is essentially free in 3D printing in a way it is not anywhere else. There is no mold to cut and no minimum order to hit.

Around the house and garage

Hose guides. Tool holders. Drawer dividers. Spacers and shims. Wall hooks in a color that matches your trim. Drainage inserts for plant pots. Small brackets that do one job and do it well.

For work and events

Jigs and fixtures for a shop. Display stands for a booth. Prototypes you can hold in a meeting before committing to a real production run. Branded pieces for a team or a giveaway, in your colors and your quantity.

What to tell us

For anything functional, three details get you a fast and accurate quote. How big it needs to be. What it attaches to or holds. And how much abuse it will take. A part that lives in a hot garage is a very different print from one that sits on a shelf.
